1 - Since the 1993 together, which the learning won?

Hi! My name is Markus und I´m the Adjdugement Guitarist. The others are Ruven (Drums), Marc (Vocals) and Wilko (Bass) and we play Olschool HC. Ruven and Marc are brothers, Wilko is their cousin. So it´s kind of a family bound. The second name of the others is Brodowski I´m the only one having an other name, as iß, not related to them. Bu we know each others from the kindergarten on, we are from the same place, and in 1992 we decided to start a band.

2 - Human Fallout is new work for you, which the main change for this album earlier?

With HUMAN FALLOUT we tried to get back to the roots. That has something to do with the fact that we´re back in the line-up we had in 1993: Four of us with just one Guitar. Nevertheless the goal was to make it sound the ADJUDGEMENT way. Some ristrictions we’ve had to take. Especially me with my guitar. I want the songs to sound live as on Cd so when you play with just one guitar i doesn´t make any sense to record seven or eight or something with different parts. Sounds good on Cd but live it´s not possible to make it sound as the recordings. Our Cd At two o´clock was different at this point cause with Tim we had a second guitar which gave us different possibilities with the arrangements. Today all of us who do the writing, wilko, Ruven and me, know about these restrictions and we don´t feel bad about it at all. As a difference to the other recordings we planned to record everything on our own in our rehearsal room to bring it to our sound engineer Marc Dörge of TANK RECORDS after that. But we had to find out that it was harder than we thought and in the end we could only use the Drums we recorded. The Rest was recorded seperately. Wilko went into the Studio with Marc Dörge and recorded every night like a maniac and i worked on the Guitars with my good friend Jens Schwanbeck in his Studio Woodpecker. In the End we worked for about two month but in the end, when Marcs Vocals were recorded, we were more than happy with the result.

3 - The band has a sound and aggressive in this new album, that e'a proposal of this work for future?

Well, after 15 years on the road we now think, that ADJUDGEMENT has got a special and own style of music and sound. There are a lot of reviews where people try to compare us with other bands. Once we labeled our music as "No school Hardcore", but to call our Album Human Falloout an oldschool Hc album with new and fresh elements would be ok aswell. And we’ll going this way our way!

4 - The band program something for the end of this year?

We wanna go on tour in autumm this year because of our 15th anniversary and play some weekend shows. The plan is to play at venues where we´ve been often and always had a good time and play together with bands who became friends over the years. We´re writing new songs and think about doing a 15 year special edition album with old and new songs...maybe also a (professional) video and stuff. Sadly all of us are quite busy at the moment with work and privat things so there is not that much time to take care about these things. But we´re gonna do it, even if it takes more time. Because we do everything on our own (booking, planning etc.), of course sometimes there are friends who help us, it takes us more time.

5- The last tour played over 400 show, and you played in big festivals in Europe as "full force and Force Attack", may be considered patrimony of hardcore, why are faithful to their lifestyle, can speak what about it? What can you tell of their current stage?

I can tell you a little story about the “WHY?”…
It was at my first Hardcore show in 1992. Sick Of It All played in Hannover in a small club nearby the city centre. My ticket number was 351 and i´m pretty sure that not many more people would have fit in the place. Wilko was there aswell and because the gig was so amazing and we realised the positive energy and spirit that actually came of the stage we bought the "Blood, Seat and no Tears".
At home we listened to this record with our friends Marc and Ruven and went to more and more shows. After the SOIA show in Hannover at least for Wilko and me it was clear, that we had to make music! Meaning straight Hardcore music with a message. It wasn´t like one was saying "we´re gonna do Hardcore", no we all decided that. So you could say that this SOIA show and their record was the ignition for Adjudgement.
Within the 15 years some things were not developing right in the scene for a while as this feeling of unity got lost on the way and some things just weren´t important anymore. It was just about hard and loud music and that’s was that. At that time I was feeling the scene was starting to die. Of course, some of the people sticked to their way but people who just „started“ were living another way. That made things complicated. But at the moments I´ve got the feeling that things are improving because even the wide spreaded scene consisting of Alternative, Punk Hc and whatever is growing together once more. New bands like Bane, Comeback Kid, This is Hell or from America Endstand or Waterdown are helping to make this happen.

7- The band already gone through some bad times, and almost finished?

Of course there are arguments from time to time but we can deal with that and in the end everything is fine….i mean were friends and not a company….

8 - Tell me the best tour for you?

In 2000 and 2002 we did tours in eastern europe and were able to experience a lot of things. We met a lot of people and played good shows. Eastern Europe still got this special charme, that’s kind of fascinating.

9- For many formations banda the past?

From 1997 to 2004 we had a second guitar player named Tim. When he had to quit, because of time problems, we decided to continue as a four piece band as in the beginning.

10- What is expected of the future in your lives? Already thought about it?

The good result we achieved with HUMAN FALLOUT makes us fit and bold for the future...so there is nothing we have to change right now, there are ideas for new songs and we just have to get them sorted out. As i said above there is also the plan of a video (for which we allready got some ideas). Because our label is from Great Britain we wanna play there at some time. And we also wanna do some of the bigger Festivals in Germany!

11 - There is some hope for humanity and its atrocities?

You should never give up your hope but at the moment it´s very hard. A worldwide economical crisis, wars, hunger, poverty, grief…there are a lot of things you have to worry about. If you are idealistic you could hope that it is possible to get people together. Maybe a society like in Star Trek would be the right solution. An ideology that’s basic are good values. But to be realistic it´s gonna take a lot of time but as long as we´re as a band are able we´re gonna continue and can try to make people think with our songs.

12- Tour in the South America, some scheduled?

Of course a tour or some shows in south america would be great but you need tiem and a group there that’s taking care of everything (transport and so on). And in the end we would at least need enough money for the flights and the whole trip. Everything has to be planned very well and although we´re touring for 15 years now I´m afraid that we´re not well known enough in south america. But I mean if we would be offered a tour it would be grat!
