Campinas, mid April 2007. These are the place and date on which 5 friends take the decision to join the two pieces of old batteries, and go meet some instruments to make noise every Sunday. In principle, this "project" band was called Ploc Monsters, to make some presentations by the bars in town with that name. Until then, the proposal was simply to make music and punk rock join movies of terror, something much appreciated by members of the group.

However, over time, which was a simple joke became a serious thing. Slowly and in a very natural, have been appearing more aggressive music and lyrics with content more engaged, showing that, indeed, a new phase was starting. Thus, as the musical characteristics have changed, obviously, it was also necessary to change the name of the band. From there comes the Bad Taste, a film inspired by trash homonym of the 80's directed by Peter Jackson.

In these two years of existence, the Bad Taste now Rodou from Campinas and some cities in the region, as Indaiatuba, Osasco and France, including dividing space with bands as invaders of brain, Zombies of Space, Atomic Garbage and Civil Olydnad (Sweden) .

Currently, for incredible as it may seem, the Bad Taste still retains its original formation, with: Melo (vocals), Du-Poka (bass), Zygote (guitar solo), Bozo (base guitar) and Gadigoza (drums). Recently the group recorded its first demo, but for lack of time, money and embarrassment in the face, the copies of the recording have not yet been made. Finally, the Bad Taste is a band that does a Hard Core watered to put the dirty punk rock, bringing influences ranging from Ramones, Misfits and Cock Sparre hold until the rats, Rattus, Riistetyt and Varukers. His songs in general are short and have lyrics that go right to the point, addressing especially the social problems, economic, political and environmental aspects of our society today. But of course, the roles, the comrades, the bizarre moments of life, the bullshit of day-to-day stories of drinking and also make space between the compositions. In summary, the formula defining the Bad Taste is simple: 5 guys are crazy for beer and noise that make the Hard Core underground culture and its main sources of inspiration, creation and struggle. Fortunately, this is an ideal shared by hundreds of people, not only in Campinas, but across the interior paulista, making the scene in the region is increasingly strong.
