Hi, Daniel! All right? The BlackSkull had another name, what was it? Why change the name of the band?

Kemi speaks! Better impossible! Yes, the name of the band changed, but was called Intoxicated. But with the change in the formation of the band, he and Lawrence (hit) and bassist at the time, Andrew decided that the new name would have more to do with the actual moment of the band.

When you came for banda? How is that?

If I remember well ... I joined in October last year, but my memory is like a goldfish then does not take much for sure! In the beginning was a huge challenge, because I am (was [?], Because I do not know more! Hahahaha) actually guitarist, so I adapt to a new instrument, while learning several songs at once was complicated way. Now I'm more relaxed, together with Fernando and Lawrence are working on re-disclosure of Blackskull demo of new material that we ta launching a collection that came out in Greece (!!!!) "Curse from the past" ( in k7) and compose new songs! Furthermore, if everything goes well we launch new material this year yet!

What is the current formation of the band? And what are the influences?

The training consists of Fernando as guitarist and main vocalist, the Lawrence on drums and me on bass and dividing the time the microphone with Fernando.
Our influences are quite varied, the Fernando, who is the composer of the great majority of riffs, and is based more on speed metal bands of Belgian, Brazilian bands in (see our cover of Satan cries of Metal Blue Lemon) and the good and old rock'n'roll, the Lou likes a lot in the metal, but for the band he brings very Running Wild, Slayer, and Sepultura. I already like the other side of things worked, I am heavily influenced by Megadeth, Slayer and Voivod. What joins the world is the love of metal and raw without fanciness!

Demo CD of the songs are all in English except "Brain Metallic," you think the majority of the songs are in English impedes the transmission of the message that the band wants to move to the public?

Depends on the public. It has a lot of people outside wanting to buy our material, and we have ta make a way of trying to sell them. For them easy enough, English is a language far more common than the Portuguese. Pra galera bazooka that neither the people, I agree that many people believe it is with difficulty, but for those who want to just write us (blackskull.df @ gmail.com) that we provide a translation or a translation that is accurate . We will always do what you can handle well the staff is in contact with us. Furthermore, it is a great chance to get out more songs in Portuguese!

Who compose the lyrics? What subjects do you like best to approach the songs?

Our letters are made by everyone, one begins a piece, the other adds one more, I fix the English and there is going ....
The issues are fairly traditional within the metal, and with a good dose of criticism for things that feel wrong or inconsistent in society / world / life in which we participate. Our lyrics are anthems of the fun of a show of metal, such as Hands on Fire, through a critique of environmental degradation in Maximum Damage to Brain Metallic speaking of control of the company on our behavior. Then the themes will always be things that annoy us, and like in the end, inspiring.

What is the political vision of the band?

Our beliefs are in fact that we see has a lot going wrong in the political arena here. The well Fernando is left, I Lawrence and on the other hand believe that there is no fixed formula for fixing everything.

Besides you have other projects BlackSkull parallel?

Projects not effective. I have a lot of ideas, and I want to play guitar in a band that had a style that means not Voivod and progressive and sound different, but in the thrash. But it is quite difficult to find the musicians, and bring forward a banda. In this case I think it would be almost impossible, unless I make a sort of Joel Grind (Toxic Holocaust) and try to do everything myself hahaha.

Had some really remarkable for a band?

Since I have joined some yes, to start was our show there in Gyn (thanks again for the opportunity Kemi!) Which was the first time that we left the DF for playing, and was well marked because the disaster happened so course of this journey that was to make a movie of comedy (or drama, is the point of view haha!). Was traveling at Paracatu who also had their stories, these are the two moments that stand out.

Which show do you most like to do?

Until today, every show we had at least one event that made this show special in any way. Besides that, I just try those places. All were very good to play in any way. In such beautiful water in the bands are generally very well received by the guys from there, in fact Gyn was to be the premier interstate and a very good equipment and so on ...

How is the public's interaction with the band?

I believe that is very good, we always do everything possible to get personal care products, talk, talk about the band, take beer. We is not cool! During the show we also have a very positive response from everybody. I am obliged to acknowledge that sometimes means I and Fernando are difficult to talk, but I assure it is timidity! Marra has nothing to with us. When you have someone who goes screaming "rush to hell" or Satan cries Metal in microphone, always carry with me and Fernando in the mosh during the songs. We think we get too cool a place and people know our material and sing the songs with us. It is what makes everything worth it.

What do you think of the scene today and the radicalism that people lead today with the metal scene?

I personally do not like any kind of radicalism. Is political is religious or whatever. Nobody has the right to put the life of another person and judge the value of them. I do not see the logic in you stop a guy who ta enjoying the role and instruct the subject. So what, ta using this shirt and not know the name of the bassist? So if it is new in the role "(another good reason for treating the subject in my opinion). So I think the sound is important for many people, and it is for me, but being with someone sucker is a different problem.
