When the band formed in 1994, what was the purpose?

Gregory: Play a sound we all curtíamos, always concerned about the quality and integrity of the compositions with the ideas we wanted to go.

What the experience in United States? How long were there?


Gregory: Much same experience ... We disseminate our work and reap important views of the record business and the industry there. We are 6 months, which have much work because we were almost penniless and had to get jobs there. The trip was very positive and I believe we have gained enough maturity to be at best in reality and direction of the market for our type of sound.


What was the impact that playing with Krisiun and Sepultura gave the band?

Márcio: It is always good touch with renowned bands, such as mentioned above to be fans of the work they do and respect a lot, hit a good number of people who will know the Deceivers and even become fans and friends because they generally just watching and enjoying the concerts in the middle of moçada. Independent but also the dissemination of our work is intense and more professional as possible, and our shows, which also has the attention.


Influences of the band? The metal seems very present, the addition would be clear that the sound of the band?

Márcio: The influences are numerous. There are 5 different people who listen to absolutely everything without any discrimination. Of course, there are bands that everyone likes and that we together, as we are always showing new things to each other. As the presence of metal, we do not upset, because we all love metal, hardcore, punk and a lot of things. That gives us enough freedom to try fairly compormos and allows us to make a sound that people, to listen, just know that it is the Deceivers.


For many configurations the band has gone? So many changes in education refer to ideological divergence, music, personal relationship? What is the current training?

Márcio: No one enters a band looking to get out, but nobody knows what will happen. People change and that is natural. One of the major difficulties of having a band is to manage the focus of its members. The Deceivers always had great musicians in training with high level and today is ever more cohesive and dialogue, which can be noticed in shows, trials and new compositions.


Creation of the songs ... how are you?

Márcio: The songs are created with the whole band together, playing and exchanging ideas so spontaneous. Sometimes someone comes with a basic riff or sometimes and just start playing until you quit something that we like and we will develop until all are satisfied. Our process of composition is very relaxed and fun, which is very important. Remember, we have several songs for a future release and we are even playing in some shows.


The band have their own structure for testing and recording?

Márcio: Unfortunately we do not have a structure that is at our disposal. Hence the need and importance of the band to be paid to appear, because we have to rehearse and record in studios of others, than the costs we have with transportation, equipment, and many others that we all know that there are bands which are not cheap! Despite the Deceivers have years of experience, I believe that in Brazil are few bands that can live only part of it (even more in the underground) and also have to structure and test recordings.


Projects for 2008?

Márcio: In 2008 the focus of the band is divided between the possible and the preparation of the register shows the next disc. We were invited to participate in a collection of records that record U.S. respawn will exit in the first half. We have a good amount of new songs and plans and talk of pre-production and production has begun. In my opinion, the Everbreathe is one of the greatest discs of hardcore / metal already recorded in the country today and the new disc the band wants to evolve further, which makes us hope for the best time and the best situation for the recording of new material .


Occupation of each of the group?

Márcio: The band is a real institution that extends from the entertainment industry to the oral health through technical areas, cultural and social welfare. We have dentists, baiano librarian, public relations, statistical and business area of graphics in our ranks. Always do a clean job, baratinha and excellent quality.

Márcio: For me the last. And the next will be even better.
Gregory: What Madball will play with for the memory ...

Gregorio that the songs are in English? The band seeks a foreign market?

Márcio: All our work is done by thinking of disclosure both in Brazil and the gringo market. The band's experience abroad has a privileged view of the music industry for the band, and have resulted in many contacts and even proposals for the band. We are making contacts and trying to launch tours outside. We believe in our work and we're working hard to make the band known.

Gregory: I do not think our sound combines with Portuguese ... I am not saying that is because I think in English "as the nostalgic Luciana Gimenez (ex Mick Jagger, mother of a child's interpreter), but does not speak for the phrase" I feel your blood acre "in Portuguese legal and sound.


The band is holding series of concerts?
Márcio: Beginning of year is always a bit complicated and slow but little by little we wrapped. We played with Krisiun recently in Brasilia and we are working on a calendar of concerts and comprehensive but at the same time work to not panic the next disc.

Márcio: The situation of the country is getting increasingly complicated and currently witnessing an escalation of violence in that frighten and anger rising. Brasilia is a storehouse of hardcore Brazilian?

Marcio: I do not like these terms because they come with that talk of the 80s and everything. But nowadays there are so many bands, which in any city you go you can tell who has a barn of bands. But there are great bands here as DFC, Innocent Kids, Revolutionary Terror, East!, Black Chicken and many others that keep the flame lit with the core disks and wonderful shows.


What family means to you?

Márcio: Family to me means not only my relatives but also the staff of the band, my friends and all those with whom I count and can count on me. That is, what is more you can trust and you have to leave proud to have you as a member.


Why the name Deceivers?

Gregory: There among some others, but we think Soave and legal means to us at the time of training.
