What are the principal bands that influence you? Do you listen to this bands before and while composing?

Wow , too many bands for sure & I can’t tell you all, but bands like Last Days Of Humanity , Malignant Tumour , Carcass , Haemorrhage , Dead Infection , Agathocles , Regurgitate, Gore Beyond Necropsy, Anal Cunt, Napalm Death & many more influenced me a lot & still now . Well, I don’t need to listen something before composing, some riffs comes in my head or even some drums patterns mostly when I’m at my job or in other situations !!

2. I know you are very busy, playing in 3 bands is not easy for anyone... Which one of them you like playing most and why?

Yeah , I’m still very busy. I would be more into with my bands & musical stuffs , is it wasn´´t for my job, because it’s 5 days of the week & right now it sucks a lots because of too long road to work . I have no preference for the bands I play , each of them have different feelings , PxFx & BIVL are more extreme & TBDLB play more on emotions .

3. Do you play many different styles and how does that contributes to your composing?

I play mostly grind/death with PxFx & BIVL, with TBDLB it’s doom metal, I have my noise project & I still play some other non metal music on drums & guitars. I think that the other sort of music I listen must contribute to the process of composition, but I mostly listen extreme stuffs so that will be a small part of it .

4. Gigs and plans to the future of each band.

Pulmonary Fibrosis works on new songs for the 2nd album with new members now, and also a summer tour with is on the way & we must appear at the Petrogrind Fest in Saint Petersburg (Russia) the 31 October 2009 also with Baptized In Vaginal Liquid too. With Baptized In Vaginal Liquid, we are still working on new songs, that’s more technical so it takes more time. Nothing special with The Bottle Doom Lazy Band, few shows in France & still working on new songs. And a LP version will be out soon from the CD "Blood For the Bloodking" already released in November 2008.

5. How was your Brasilian tours first and second impression? Which time was better? Where and when was your best gig and tour, and please tell us which band.

Ahhhhh, I am still in love with Brazil because of Sepultura & others bands that I know since I´d started to listen extreme music . The first tour in 2006 was more like holidays, because a few shows were cancelled. But it was awesome to go there & meet lots of people. The tour of 2008 was better, more shows & we were better on stage. Thanx a lots to Yanosh (Jordi) to have learned the guitar parts in 1 day :-) It’s getting better year after year, so the next time will be surely greater, héhé. All shows were different, but we were good enough in Sao Paulo, Divinopolis & Bauru, the others in Joinville & Botucatu were nice too but we were not very good, I think !! About bands, Flesh Grinder, Expurgo, Offal, Kremate, Plague Rages, Subcut, the German guys from Attack Of The Mad Axeman are very good on stage, too.

6. Which bands from Brasil do you like most?

Flesh Grinder, Rot, Lymphatic Phlegm, Neuro-visceral Exhumation, Rotting Flesh, Gore, Expurgo, Subcut, Offal, Holocausto, Sepultura, Feculent Goretomb, Scatological Madness Possession, Clawn, Fornication, Neoplasm Disseminator, Subtera, Evokers, Life Is A Lie, Expose Your Hate, Siege Of Hate, Corporate Death, Krisiun & many more that I forget!!! E muitas outras que agora me esqueci

7. Do you teach drums? And do you practice and study a lot? How many hours a day? Tell us about your drum kit.

Well , I have started to teach some friends. That’s strange for me, because I really don’t know how to start drumming lessons & I need to learn more about it. I don’t practice a lot, when I have time, I practice around 15 minutes dayly in the week & at the rehearsal on the week-end . I never had taken lessons, I started playing drums round 2001 & my first patterns was blast beat, haha :-) Right now, I want to work with a metronome to be more tight & be better. About my drumkit ??? Well , with Baptized In Vaginal Liquid I use my big kit , 2 bassdrums, few toms, around 10 cymbals, triggers on bassdrums & my Axis longboards . With PxFx I’m back with a normal kit , 1 bassdrum, few toms, few cymbals, cow & my DW 9000 pedal. With TBDLB, I use a minimalistic kit, 2 crashes, 1 ride, 1 hi-hat, 1 bassdrum, 2 tom , snare & my DW!! I’m also endorsed by www.grindstix.com, really great sticks for playing fast & they’re more long than some others, I use the 5A with PxFx/BIVL & the 5B with TBDLB!!!

8. What would you say to a beginner?

This question isn’t for me, ask it to a drummer, héhé :-) I just play drums, I’m not drummer. Play for passion, not for fashion :-) Learn drums need lots of time, practice, perseverence & passion, so work with it in mind .

9. I know you record most of the stuff in Px Fx, do you do that in the other bands as well? Which part of recording you like most? (singing, playing, mixing, etc..)

Ah yeah, most of all recording with shitty sound was made by me & of course with the help of the other members sometimes :-) We have also 2 studio recordings, yeah only after 10 years of existence, so I haven’t experience in studio :-( But anyway , I like to record stuff, but I need to know more about the techniques of mixing & mastering, that’s really interesting. As I built my own studio, I really need to know more about it , I will surely go to learn more about it in a school, in France you can do it on 1 week or a week-end, so the next stuffs will be surely better héhé

10. What do you aspect from the extreme music scene for the next years? How can the bands survive it?

I don’t know really to tell you the truth, I just play the music that I like . As the people never like grind & mostly extreme bands in France, for me it’s the same since I started to listen this kind of music! But for sure, it would be great to play in better conditions, we will see what happen !!!!
