1. Jukka, I am glad to have this opportunity to interview you, after three years that we last met in Finland.  Tell was about Kämsët Levyt Records plans, releases and so far.  How can we get the stuff from you?

Hi Joanna! Here are finally the answers, sorry it took ages*… I just got out yesterday the re-press of Lobotomia “Nada é Como Parece” LP (thanks for the help!). Amazing! Also just out new Juggling Jugulars LP, 1981 7”, Neuroottiset Pezimannit 2xLP (Discography), Diskelmä/Polttoitsemurha -Split 7”… And next week I will have Sokea Piste LP, mostly Finnish stuff… I don´t wanna talk about plans because they sometimes don´t work or are decayed, just check out my home page to get the stuff!!

2. Tell us in which bands are you playing currently and the instruments you perform. Please share with your fans what are the next tours and gigs.

 

3. When was the best tour you ever had? And in which band were you playing at the time?

Impossible to say! First ever tour was with Diaspora 1999 (Europe), that was nice as everything was new to me.
Turun Tauti had 2 crazy Euro-Tours 2002 & 2003
Sotatila + Pisschrist was awesome in Europe 2008.
Riistetyt in Brazil 2007 was crazy and in USA 2010 (East Coast) was awesome! Lot of shorter cool tours too, but maybe longer are better as people in the band get more freak out.

 

4. I know you travel a lot to many countries all the time. Is there still one place that you never been before and would like to go?

Sure! I was never in Asia, for example. Plan is to go to Japan next year. Also wanna go to South-East Asia to make some noise. And, South America, Mexico… USA west Coast, Canada, Africa, Australia… I was travelling a lot in Europe, but really little outside of it!

 

5. Which country that you already visited did you like most? Why?

Brazil – Nice people & crazy country & punk. Never boring.
Serbia – Great people in shit country. Police offers you booze.
Greece – Enough chaos & punks. Beautiful and I don´t understand what they say or write.
Basque Country in Spain – Great squats and good flow… I could continue the list forever!

 

6. Your favorite sort of songs, bands, books, films, arts, foods, drinks.

Music: Punk, Hardcore, Metal, Goth… whatever is good. 10000000 favorite ones from many genres
Arts: Punk Artists: Septic, Doomsday, Sugi… you see so many good unknown ones doing record covers + posters. Sure I like many famous artists too, but in general those freaky ones. Did I forget Nick Blinko? Sorry. Pushead, Giger, Metal record artists, Stiv, Halsey… + 10000 more!
Food: Fatty food that gives me heart attack, beer, red wine, ice cream -> maybe some healthy stuff sometimes, too.

 

7. I had the chance to see your drawings and they are really good. So good that, as you know, I have one of them as a tattoo in my right arm. Tell us about that gift and the possibility to see an exhibition of yours here or elsewhere.

Thank a lot! Have been lazy with drawings and exhibitions. Should do more, but I mostly just start when I’m too drunk. The best ones come normally when having a terrible freezing, hangover or something else. Hope to have exhibition there someday but, I should draw more.
 

8. Choose, from the bands you had played along your life (alive or not), one you would like to join again. Why?

Hmm, I guess none. Enough to look forward than backwards! But, why not playing one special show, with any band if it’s fun.

 

9. Define in one word: yourself, a place to live, a dream, and a passion.  

I guess I’m lucky to have it all what I need now. Just hope it stays as it is.

 

10. When can Brazil aspect the first Sotatila appearance, next Riistetyt tour and maybe meet your other projects?

I’d really like to bring Sotatila over! We’ve been talking about it for years. Hope it happens soon, as I feel I’m getting too old soon for touring. Riistetyt, I stopped to play, so, I don´t know.
