Metraliator-SPEED "EVIL" THRASH
Belo Horizonte / MG - Brazil

The Metraliator was formed in mid-2005, for "Misanthropic" and "Rock 'n' Roll."
After some tests with guitar, "Paul Mad Max" joins the band closing what would be the first training Metraliator as Power Trio.
After some time, "Canary Sodomizer" takes the bass, leaving Rock 'n' Roll with only the vocals and thus closing the circle that remains stable until today.
In 2007, after some concerts in Belo Horizonte and some cities in Minas, was recorded a demo tape "Fast as a Bullet," which was well received in the underground national and international, also being launched in Thailand and Costa Rica.
After that, the band performed in several other cities and also other states.
In 2009, the Metraliator launches its first official called "Satanic Machine", which left the French label Pyrenean Metalheads Rec
This is also having a great acceptance and respect for the work that was done.
Currently the band is in studio finishing the compositions that will be part of future work, which begins to be written up in early 2010.

-How and when did the band?

The band emerged in 2005, the first contact I had with the singer "Rock 'n' Roll."
In our first conversation, we feel a great affinity and ideological compatibility and then we immediately decided to put this into practice through music. Thus arose the Metraliator.

-How is the underground scene of Betim / Contagem?

Well, I reside in Betim, but never really had much contact with the underground scene there.
Because the other band members reside in BH, was always more intense contact with the underground of Belo Horizonte and Contagem.
What can I say about it is that has positives and negatives.
For me, this idea of "scene / movement" has died long ago.
I see that today, unfortunately, the feeling was dropped and gave rise to a kind of "politics". What I do not like it one bit.
Radicalism often unfounded (rebels without a cause not even know what to say) or fashions overshadow the brilliance that we have here in Canada.
We have many hidden talents out there, but lack focus, objectivity, professionalism.
Our underground is very rich, but you do not enjoy it.
In my opinion lack feeling, love of art and ideological loyalty.

-What are the main influences sound of the band?

The main influence of Metraliator the German Thrash Metal, which follows the line more "Evil".
We combine this style of Black Metal, Heavy Metal, Death Metal and Crust traditional.
I point out bands like: Violent Force, Bathory, Destruction, Desaster, Sodom, Running Wild, Possessed, Kreator, Slayer (old), Judas Priest, Hellhammer / Celtic Frost, Venom, Sarcofago, Cranium, Iron Angel, etc ...

E-projects? What are the plans for the future?

We are currently finalizing the composition of 9 tracks that will be part of our new work.
The first idea is to launch a new album, but also received a proposal to be part of a split with another band nationally.
We are studying the proposals to decide which path we take, but in any event, there will soon be the new material Metraliator available!

-How is the recording process?

We recorded the "Satanic Machine" here in Belo Horizonte, in the "Italo Lagg Studio" in the neighborhood Forest.
The Italo is a very patient guy and a great professional. He wore the same shirt of the band and devoted himself entirely to writing.
We recorded everything on separate channels and try to keep the sound turned to the Old School line, without using modern effects that could undermine the essence of what we wanted to work.
In all, nearly 3 months of recording, including mixing and mastering.
We are immensely pleased with the outcome and intend to continue writing our next work there.

-Do you have a side project?

Of all who touch the Metraliator, I'm the one that I have another project.
I drummer for Akerbeltz (Old School Black Metal) Count / MG.

What were the training?

The Metraliator got its start as "Power Trio". After a while, "Canary Sodomizer" came to take the bass, leaving "Rock 'n' Roll" in charge only of vocals and stabilizing the formation that continues today:

-Look for a landmark concert in the history of the band.

Several shows have marked the history of Metraliator, but I can point out the "In Union We Stand - Heavy Metal Fest", held in January 2008, the city of Contagem / MG, organized by my friend Thales Augusto.
There were many people present shared the stage with other great bands (like Flageladör, Aasverus, etc..), The crowd was totally insane and equipment and organization were impeccable.

-Finally, name three regional bands of great importance to the underground scene.

Sarcophagus, The Mist and Fri Trash.
Bands that were also run an excellent musical work, contributed to raise the name of our underground global knowledge.
