Neocrobiotic

Questions by egon

01 - To begin our conversation, I would like first of all to congratulate you for the excellent work on Alive and Rotting. It is a pleasure to exchange idea with you. Make a brief presentation of the members of Necrobiotic, as well as a brief bio of the band.

FACO: It's our pleasure Egon. Thanks for the words on our album. The Necrobiotic appeared in 1994, and was founded by current guitarist J. Hell (then drummer) and a friend of ours who is now the Preceptor drummer, who at the time u played guitar and did vocals. I joined the band in 1996 and was one of the guitars, no singing at the beginning of the band. In 1997 the band released their first demo "Carnal Suffering of the War." The following year, closed down. In 2009 it was possible to reunite the band and willing to turn over not stop. I took the vocals than the guitar, the Hell took the guitar and found two other comrades here in Divinópolis, the old underground, including siblings who are, the broker (drums) and Alexander (bass / vocals), the two joined us and added greatly to our sound. The result of this meeting is "Alive and Rotting".

02 - I know Necrobiotic already has many years of road in the underground, however there was a long hiatus from the band's activities. What happened to the band sleeps for so long? As was the case back?

FACO: We've all gone in those of the 90 were very young, we had commitments with study, work and family which prevented us from continuing at the time. I myself moved from one city 04 times in that period. In 2009 I returned to live in Divinópolis, and the first thing I did was reattach the Necrobiotic. I think we stopped too early, we had much more to offer, and can no longer remain untouched. This is a horny, an addiction that we all have in common.

03 - In the demo CD Alive and Rotting, there are more materials available in the band? How to acquire them? What are the forecasts for future releases?

FACO: We have our first demo tape, which is no longer available. The Rotting Alive was released and now in June, we made it in the duplication industry Digital Master in BH, and graphic material was worked by Pablo Rodriguez, a renowned design of the underground, which is here in our city. It can be purchased in some stores, such as Mushroom (BH), Mutilation (SP), Zeppelin (POA) and Factor Rock (DIVI). It also takes some distributors, such as Rotten Foetus, Sevared the United States, Gore Tomb and Metal Reign in store. And of course can be purchased directly from the band, via e-mail necrobiotic666@hotmail.com. We are doing many shows to promote the album, we're still working on the next record our compositions and we intend to work on next year. This time we will invest more in production work, recording in a studio better. We are looking for labels / distributors interested in being our partner for this next job.

04 - Beyond the extraordinary death metal that you are sending in Alive and Rotting, which of the other styles influence your sound? I feel a good grip on the thrash metal songs as well. This is part of reality or is it just a crazy feeling I get when I hear the sound of you?

FACO: Thanks for the extraordinary. We in the band we love Thash Metal, Doom Metal, Grindcore ... and all that influences us when we compose. Certainly there are good bits of Thrash in our sound, only that we try to carry everything to the optics of Death Metal, which we are most comfortable.

05 - On the writing process, as the songs are made? And the approach of the letters portray what kind of theme? There are lyrics in Portuguese?

FACO: What comes first is usually a riff, or my Hell, or more riffs, already a well-defined musical structure. The times recorded and presented to the rest of the band, one for each part of your work at home, we sometimes directly in the assay. So is that the songs make the final contours. Then add the letters and finally some arrangements and solos. We did not put credits on individual songs because they work together, even though the initial idea comes from the guitars, the progress is very important, and music built by the whole band. We have many issues to our letters. I particularly like a lot of blood, sadism ..., splatter the same themes. We have adopted a critical attitude to religion, and also flirted with Satanism, anything metaphysical, but as a lifestyle, something quite atheistic. About lyrics in Portuguese, is a possibility for the next job. We've talked about this and would like to do it. On the other hand we will have to perfect the letter, it must be very good for us to use.

06 - I realized that there are some brief intros on tracks like Into Necrobiotic and Shame. Why use this device in the songs? Some things you enjoy gore / splatter intros also to put in a trip or just sick of this big fan of B movies that speaks to you?

FACO: We enjoy this kind of intro too. We would like to get better, but we had many limitations in the recording of our album. We produce and even made the intros. We would have to have someone with knowledge on this issue to help make good intros like gore. You can be sure that ideas were not lacking. For example, the Foie Gras with an intro to a frying pan to fire and screaming in the background, would be fucking. Perhaps he re-recorded it and use an intro would be very well .... fuck!

07 - Talking about political issues, the band takes a stance on chaotic scene we see today in Brazil and the world? Is there any kind of ideology behind the Necrobiotic?

FACO: Some think we're Nazis (kkkkkkkkkkkkk), finally, people are very creative. The Necrobiotic has no political positions.

08 - Actually, I think that name very strong and impressive: Necrobiotic. How did the idea for the name of the band and what we can actually understand it?

FACO: The name was given by Hell and logo, which was designed by him. The origin is a song by Carcass, Pungent Excruciation. I guess you understand that we love Carcass.

09 - Over the years, learned that Necrobiotic underwent a change of formation, as Morone, current preceptor, was part of the band a few years ago. There were more changes in line up the band? This can disrupt the work or you face it naturally?

FACO: The Moron is one of the founders of the band. He was present throughout the first phase of Necrobiotic, from 1994 to 1998 when the band stopped the activities. When we returned in 2009 changed a few times training, the Hell did not want to play drums, so we had to get a good drummer. Our current lineup is very good, and we intend to continue with it as long as possible. The loss of members is a problem for extreme metal bands, and many not be playing and listening to this style, it is also difficult to get people who take their instruments to the extreme, playing fast and sometimes intricately.

10 - What are some influences there for macabre composition of their songs. What have you been listening to metal? There are other genres / styles / bands you like without being metal?

FACO: For the letters of our sick minds are very creative, we use a lot of books and themes of movies sometimes. Stephen King's tales are a good influence, as well as anything involving Hannibal Lecter. But the main come from the head of oneself. Musically our biggest influence is in the beginning of the Death Metal of the 90s and late 80s. Carcass, Entombed, Sarcofago are big influences. We love this new crop Splatter too, Impaled, Aborted ... Lately I've been listening to the new album by Autopsy. Maybe I like a bit of classic rock and progressive, but it is a passion as the metal, I have no CD of these styles.

11 - As a band of Minas Gerais, you face some kind of difficulty to play elsewhere? How is the scheme shows the Necrobiotic? I even had the pleasure to see you playing here in Belo Horizonte and I could give you the live sound is disgrace from beginning to end, leaving the neck of any banger quite painful. How is the receptivity of the public after the return of the band? You are having to play outside contacts of Minas Gerais? Outside the country?

FACO: We would like to play more, but there are some empencilhos. The difficulties are more due to the conditions of underground events, travel unassisted in gasoline, playing at 3 am and the bad sound system. Sometimes it is expensive and you touch ground for a public ground, so when someone remains in the show. But we've done a fair number of shows in our region, southern Minas Gerais and in the capital. There are major differences in the 90s to today. The public is less and less interested at that time. Today people want to see the show band gringa, gringa and only band. It turns out that underground events are harmed by it. There is a widespread lack of interest in the national metal .. This show we did in the BH matrix, in which you have been, was very good, shared the stage with the staff of the Purge and Death of the Divine, which are two great bands, and they are our friends from the underground. We have contacts to play outside instead of MG, but unfortunately we can not realize these shows. Who knows until the end of the year can not play in SP at least, maybe in Parana. We will continue trying. Who wants to Necrobiotic in your party, just get in touch via email. Concerts abroad is a dream for us. Since some agencies but we probed more mature idea, and leave it for the future. The priority is to play as much as possible even here in Brazil, and to launch the second album Necrobiotic. The receptivity of the public is being very good, both in concert and with the CD. It distributed more than 200 CDs, including sales, exchanges ... with a reasonable number abroad.

12 - The scene is very active Divinópolis, especially amid the punks and I think also with the staff of the hardcore. Bassist of you, Alexander has enough contact with those guys too. In the punk movement's gig even when I run into him and we exchange a good idea. As the scene is there for death metal, trash etc..? You cherish the union or in the underground has to be every one in your self and fuck the rest?

FACO: The punk movement is not as big here as in the past, few people actually still involved with the punk scene. The metal is pretty cool, there are many people, but we are very united. Today we have four bands active in covering much of the metal spectrum. Also have a good relationship with the outer region. There is a mutual support among all these people. If we the metalheads do not support the underground, we do not make it happen, who will do this?

13 - Which of the Brazilian underground bands you would highlight? Indicate here sounds interesting for our readers in the opinion of you.

FACO: The National Underground is very rich, of course I do not know all the national bands, I even know a small number of them. I can name a few bands I like, and which owe nothing to their gringo like in reality are even better. Sarcasm, Purge, Perlokos, The Ordher (RIP), slaughter (RIP) ... are many.

14 - Returning to the Alive and Rotting, how was the recording process?

FACO: We recorded in the studio where we rehearse. Very limited resources and the owner of the studio trying to get the guitar tones, the mixing and mastering, the guy knows nothing about metal, much less end .... it was very costly to make the "Alive and Rotting" sound that way . We took all the studio had to offer, and we all part of mixing and mastering while Comrade interfere, all he had changed it back. Anyway, next time we will spend more on a studio and record with people who can help in producing the album.

15 - I found the cover very well tramp, something bizarre and very traumatic. Who was the author of this art shocking? How did you come to that view?

FACO: Man wanted to do something that referred back to the band, hence arose the name and Rotting Alive for the album, the music did not exist at the time, after that we compose and write the letter. To indicate that our process aprodrecimento, and our sick mind, began to manifest when we were young, we decided to use the image on the cover of some fetuses. A great friend of the band managed to take me to a "tour" in a lab here in town (of course I can not reveal the name of the person or laboratory) who performs biopsies and "coincidentally" I brought my camera. The lab has all sorts of cut human you can imagine ... I did the fun there, and among the pictures I took was that of fetuses, which were gently placed in that position. Photo to the cover we rely on the help of Pablo Rodriguez, a good friend of ours, headbanger, and an expert in graphic design. The guy turned the photo we took cover in a bitch. When I saw I could not believe it was the same picture that was there. If you have a band and need a fucking graphic work, good thing, contact him, e-mail is: firstsinner666@hotmail.com the Necrobiotic recommended.

16 - What about splits, what you have to say? Like, do they come upon, or do not believe that the band fits this type of material form?

FACO: We like splits yes, and we can do in the future. I think even likely that we will just see a good opportunity!

17 - Let contacts the band here, as well as the places where it can be purchased Alive and Rotting.

FACO: You find the Necrobiotic on myspace www.myspace.com / necrobioticdeathmetal and via e-mail, necrobiotic666@hotmail.com. To purchase our CD you can contact directly with the band, or some of the distributors below: stores: Mushroom (BH), Mutilation (SP), and Zeppelin (POA), Factor Rock (DIVI), distributors, Rotten Foetus, Sevared (USA), Gore Tomb, shop: Reign in Metal. It has more people distributing our material, with an underground concert there in your region, there is a possibility you will find him to sell this show.

18 - I want to thank you immensely here in the participation of Culture in weight and leave the space open for you to send any message they want: a protest, a greeting, anything. The space is yours. Thanks there and stay metal!!

FACO: We appreciate that space. It is very gratifying to participate in the underground and see that there are other people who care about this as much as us. See you around at some fucking show near you! STAY ROT!
