What is the reason the name of the band be Paura?

We are descendants of Italians, and when the band started, the idea was to have an Italian name. Paura was chosen.



What themes in the band discusses their lyrics?

Our daily life and the problems we face. Both at local and global level.



The first album to now the evolution of the band has been evident, much work would be the formula of this growth?

Always take the band seriously. So work is not something that we think, what needs to be done, has to be done and ready. But the relationship and friendship between us that we also help a lot.



What is the current training? It is the same as the beginning of the band?

Initial training of 11 years ago, only Rogério (guitar) remains. The current is completed by me, Fabio (vocals) since 2001, the Henry (drums) since 98, the Rafael (bass) since 2003 and Caio (guitars) since 2005.



Make a summary of how they met and decided to mount the band?

I was not in the band at that time, but I know that Paura began as a hardcore band that wanted to bring a more metal sound in 1995. The guys played in other bands at the time, bands important for scenario (Luiz Rogério and the No-Violence, the Farofa the Garage Fuzz and Lau in Kangaroos In Tilt). As always Paura was taken as a band, some changes in training started to happen. That was the beginning of everything.



Every band has already been expelled from a garage by bedlam the tests, this has happened to you?

Me in the band ever did this. But in other bands that played did. But that is natural, depending on your neighborhood.



The band has already made presentations in our city (Uberlândia), the receptivity was good? Liked by the public? Gaps left for a possible return to play here?

Have played there a few times and have always been shows striking. The public seems to be more dedicated to events of independent music loud. Always willing to return to play in your city. We know many good people there and we are always trying to get a ride. I hope that happens at the beginning of 2008.



The doors are opening more to the hardcore, this is there is a new structure against the prejudice that is being made a few years?

Dude, honestly, I do not see the door opening is pro type of hardcore that we do. In truth I do not know if it's more hardcore, hardcore because today the word is associated with things that should never be, in my opinion. So the doors of the mainstream that are opening for some bands "underground" has nothing to do with hardcore.

To summarize in a few bands: Sick Of It All, Bad Brains, Slayer and Metallica.

No. Never.

Play where der, including our 1st tour in Europe. Maybe save some disk or a dvd .... we have many plans, but we must keep our feet on the floor.

I work with actions, Rogério with legal advertising, the Henry in the studio recording it (which record the last 3 discs), the computer and works with Caio Rafael studying web design.

I think that while the owners of these animals are less rational that even the dogs, the situation will continue getting worse.

Earlier this month in Quito in Ecuador. Because we had never played for 20 thousand people.

Recorded with Henry, in his studio. It is important because it is part of the band, then record something is always easy for us.
