The site started up as everything begins in underground, or with much struggle and DIY.

In 2007 I was just lost a blog on the internet, but with the increase of access and the need for a more adequeda, then came the idea of creating a portal.

So they needed a name, was chosen Culture in weight, because the name is strong and it was an event held by the creator of the site.

And had as one of the main objectives columnists have to show more about various cities of the country and its cultures, something worth remembering, this is very well done and the results.
