Raptor is a band of Heavy Metal and traditional, rooted in the City of UBA, Minas Gerais, home of the composer Ary Barroso owner of most recorded music in the world: Aquarela do Brasil.
The band emerged in 2003 with the following training:
Vinnie the voice (Ex Global Shit, Angels of Death, Frei Jao, First of April, Kontrataq, Shampoo and Chicken of the time in activity by holding the voices of The Paper Dolls and 80ptation); Jocélio on guitar (Ex Ececutor and Crossfire) with a footprint and 80's thrash and Toninho Lisbon (Former Angels of Death, Plasmodium, Skaryos, April and First Impact) commanding the sticks. To complete this' time 'missing only find a bass that sum up the band, which was once Cliff Harris entered and completed the initial training of the Raptor.
As soon began to appear the first compositions, but both Vinnie and the rest of the band felt a "vacuum" in the instrumental and it was resolved with the entry in 2005 of Jorge Blood Fist (now with the name Nick artistic Perr), which thicken the tracks with his guitar.
The following year the band launches its first EP, the CD Demo SOULPLUNDERERS.
The EP has 7 songs that seek to spread the true cause of Traditional Heavy Metal: the balance between sophistication and monstrous weight, noise and melody, life and death, arrival and departure. But there is something very interesting in this EP, two tracks we find a 'hint' of a style which is to influence some of the members: the gothic music from scratch, but that does not influence the actual style of the band and not disappoint fans of heavy metal.
The track was chosen by DARK ANGEL Baiestorf and Petter Gurcius gewdner, two geniuses in the art of making videos, to track the average length of the film Cannibal Films and Productions Bulhorgia: Breaking: I piss on your fucking grave! Besides the track, Vinnie is also the video staged next to the new queen of the underground cinema ljana national Carrion.
The band Raptor is now preparing its second CD entitled HUMAN BEING - Disposable MIRACLE. Vinnie says fans can expect a CD with tracks that will talk about the lack of communication between people, the lost time not important, the contrast between life and nostalgia.
