01) Cidin, thanks to the power granted ai Culture in weight. Introduce us to the members of the Severe and that each plays.

Indeed I do thank you for the invitation, the band has five members, the voice Daniel, Philip and William on guitar, bass and I Weniton in the battery.



02) The Severe is a relatively new band in the HC scenario of Minas Gerais. Tell us a brief biography of the band.


In 2007 William and I were without banda after some projects that were not true, and we get to do music production studio, rolled a very cool energy from the beginning and we invite the rest of the staff, which is Philip (who also played in banda I had before), the Juninho, who started in the low and vocal pro Daniel, from the beginning when we did many shows and in the dissemination esforçávamos much, with less than a year since we launched our first demo, which was a recording have quality and has a good effect and such, resulted in several invitations to concerts fuck out of bh and some of mine and many of these shows have to happen, now we just do two years of band and we are with a new record in manga, seven songs will be launched shortly by a split in a seal of BH.



03) And over the short period of existence of the band, you had a change in training. That was something necessary? What happened to occur a change in members?


We made only one and that is the only hope, because a change of members is always something to balance a banda, Juninho the left and entered the Weniton, the reasons were different and I actually prefer not quote them, but Juninho contributed much during his time in the band, an exceptional person, the entry of Weniton added in very well in general also has more weight in the footprint of the banda.



04) With the current line-up, how are you feeling the energy of the band?

I think both the new training on the action of the time we are mesh and shows has been more intense in general we are also great friends, then the energy is fucking.



05) What is the proposal that the music has Severa? What motivated the HC and not play another style of music within different sections of the rock?


From the beginning we were a band that we wanted to play something, myself, and never try to force the sound bag, when we make music together and the fluid that is what we play, regardless if the music sounds more metal with a footprint, or more hardcore, the question is more in the hardcore is something more personal, you have to do with our beliefs, friendships, and also pass it in the music. So I would say that what motivated us to make this sound was the naturalness with which we make our music.



06) What are the materials that Severe has launched? On this future release, you could say in anything? Of which will seal?

We have only our demo from 2008 and some articles that every band should have, which is t-shirts, buttons ... adhesives ... We recorded seven songs in March and April this year, are five songs and two novel rewrites of our demo was recorded by Andrew Hair, the band's guitar CHAKALI here in BH, and will leave soon for 53hc, we have a date set yet is basically that.

07) How do you see the hardcore scene in BH and Brazil now? I have seen in shows for you and at the myspace of the band that the impact has been really good. What relationship do you expect to create with the public and with other bands and even with other styles?


I see the scene of bh as a very bad scene, where many people are concerned more with the life of another than with the actual scene, I do not know for sure but probably this issue extends the scene of other Brazilian states and even worldwide, but at the same time is a scene that has many people willing to move things, to keep alive the underground and I would say that I have been satisfied
with some changes that have rolled, making many new happens, then I see a great opportunity for improvement. The impact that the band has had the result of much effort the very test, willingness to do right, well done to our ideas and move forward, disclose much in the band and I also think that everything you do will tend to to make sure ... I hope the people, bands and any of our style and we always have to offer, friendship and respect, I think the recognition is a result of all that I said.



08) Touching this matter of ideas and respect the scene, the letters Severa has what type of theme?


Our lyrics talk about various things, the music is "the end" which means that the speech that the current world situation, the destruction is not only her songs but some say these things but always showing that you have way to lead a life more legal , we are not a Christian band, people think that for some parts of some letters and such, we only think there is a more positive way of living, you can choose to be a shit or can choose a better way and that, we have some letters that were won, too, has what is called a "pale black death" that won a then deceased banda de Uberlândia xfuerzax call, it means that talk of indignation to see the poor always being defeated and humiliated by who has more strength and power, as were the poorest people is extorting the government and this and that ... in general, we speak of society, of ourselves, of conduct of life, these things.



09) What are the main influences of the band? You hear some other musical style than metal and HC?


Our influences are more varied, I listen very hardcore, metal, much like the grind and a few more bids punk too, I hear too many bands, soul and the like, and even some rap groups, the William is a guy who listens more metal and even some national parades MPB, these things, Daniel also listening very hardcore and metal, like rap, too, the very Filipe listening metal, he likes a few stops of metal and also as the oldest, listen hardcore and related also the most metal Weniton listening and has spent listening to more hardcore now entered for this band and I can not speak for others but not so much that I see them basically that's it.



10) Let's now talk about shows. Following a bit of history of the band, you have played much in Belo Horizonte and interior of Minas Gerais and other states also. How has this experience? What is expected of you for future shows? Has more plans of playing in major festivals?


Since starting the band we managed to do many shows, played in many places and many concerts here in bh and calculation, some rough shows up even if the name already knew it was stuck but the business was playing, had made that month in 2008 up to five shows, played alongside a lot of bandwidth here and fuck off, we opened a show for a band from Boston called U.S. 108, play with Garage Fuzz, Itsari, Clearview and many others in 2009 also made no travel due to recording and other stuff, but last year closed with words of gold in Sao Paulo in a fucking show in space unfit, bitch of receipt of the gang there and played in several cities of mines, as Uberlândia, Juiz de Fora, Governador Valadares and other, has been cool and rewarding to see that a gang of people who live a great distance from people like the band, we receive messages and maintains friendships with many of these people, that adds much for our life and makes us want to play more, and each even better, we expect future products to best shows ever and in different places, playing with many of the bands I admire, which is already possible, this year has a lot you scroll around, very cool show the way, shows higher also with big bands, but what is not losing hope that this energy we have and receive.

11) Regarding the relationship with the Weird, how the contact occurred? It is a kind of sponsorship of the band? Tell us briefly about the Weird.


This was also the result of race, one day the Philip sent me their website and said they supported some bands of the south and stuff, contact, put the band and after a long roll support, they help us with distribution, send us the brand clothes, which are by FODA signal, and are exceptional people, when we were in São Paulo know them personally and we stayed in the house of Santiago we received wonderfully well, the Weird has added only for the very, very even .

13) When not involved with the band and the sound, which are members of the Severe? What do you enjoy at leisure?
What I shorter is really the least I, who is traveling, I like the simple things, enjoy my family, trunk and drinking with friends, talking about music, listening to music, haha, these things can not talk much on the guys but I think we look like this, everybody has a girlfriend and I'm married, so many of the activities are similar, in many of our friends are in common, then that has always are together and do things like that. And the work out right.

14) What are the bands of the scene old / current in Brazil you would like to highlight and which in their opinion deserve the attention of the gang?
Some of the old are no longer active, Children of Gaia, Point of No Return, Crahter, Paura, Reffer, Confronto, I Shot Cyrus, The Enemy and many others there, the scene today Hold Your Breath, Do it Yourself, Crossfire, Overstate , purge (interest is not because its an interview), Through the Storm, Gaia, never winter, Colt -45, D'Front, at the end of the day, has many bands that are cool and deserve emphasis, but all talk of is difficult, then ends here.
