Entrevista com Sflexia

1 - When and how did the Sflxia?
The Sflexia emerged in 2000 with the proposal to have an aggressive sound and spontaneity. The band was born of necessity and download the latent anger in a productive way, or another type of violence.

2 - What the band has accomplished in the year 2010, and what will be done (scheduled) for the second half?
Well, we are working to launch a new material for 2011 (new substances and new experiences) for the second semester we plan to launch a CD with both the band and we have some gigs in St. Paul and probably in rio de janeiro.

3 - Punk rock today goes far concentrated only in big cities and small towns as you see the situation from the scene?

Well there are places here in Minas Gerais that I know who has one scene with very strong and loyal people who take very seriously this stop, I can cite examples such as Black Gold, Wollongong, Lafaiete, Del Rei. I also see a greater unity between metal and punk crowd, day May 1 Lafaiete rolled in the seventh edition of the work day slave who had bands of different sections with a very diverse audience and all in peace.

4 - Influences of the band?

In our early influences were bands like rdp, napalm death (especially the first 2 discs), grave, DFC and others. We are a band that activity in ten years we had lots of training and everyone who has left a contribution with their influences individuals. Currently our new compositions bring a holistic literary influence of authors such as Capra, Maturana and Francisco Varela.

5 - Songs that talk about politics, decay and violence, as these letters do not arrive for whom the middle?

This is usually complicated people who are not involved in this scene they end up thinking that all this is nothing more than just noise to no purpose. The parade to reach a larger domain is more diversified play in events as possible.

6 - Quick play:

4 international bands: - napalm, madball, biohazard, nirvana (the first two albums) Slayer, Soulfly Varukers etc ...

Four national bands - DPO, direct action, grave, DFC, zombie nation, unlabeled etc.

1 cd: - the web of life

A book - "every bone is a giraffe" (melissa Graziela)

A person Melissa Graziela

Alcohol: - Alcohol is a very complicated issue, I speak it knowingly, my grandfather died of alcohol problems, I think alcohol is the drug most anarchic there, I personally have some problems with it, you can not arrest overcome you, never underestimate the power of a substance. Otherwise alcohol is poetic and serves as a springboard but the fall is very energetic.

7 - The best show of the band?

Each show has a different energy but a show that was very marked in 2006 if I remember correctly, in Lafaiete the situation was different because the band had stopped for a few months and this show was the crowd around us was pending, Another interesting show was also in Juiz de Fora in 2006 We played to about 3000 people in a square in a traditional event in the city to fuck a lot of interaction energy was on that day we could reach a longer range. We are also a high expectation for the two concerts in Sao Paulo will be mass make two presentations on the same day.

8 - As has been the feedback that the band has received from people about your work?

Cara has been very positive in the first concerts at the beginning was hot because we played a maximum of three covers rdp or the rest of napalm was itself sounds so everybody got a little lost, now the guys already know our work is very rewarding to see staff shirt with your band or else with a screaming chorus, our sound
'Long live the spirit' has passed and is a song that speaks of the theme with some irony and presents both sides of the coin.

9 - What can you say about emerging styles being labeled part of the hardcore and punk rock?

Label definitions are complicated, we do not like it and set our course we have our sound vein hc / punk much more than flirt with other types of sound in our next sound we even have a hint of african music, our new drummer's head is very open and a very wide field of percussive think it will be interesting. As for emerging styles do not know if you wanted to refer to young bands that have arisen mainly in the middle of that decade I think this has nothing to do with punk or hc or musically or ideologically.

10 - Where material, finding the band, buy, download, enter en contact?

Well we can to get our contact with the foot mouse distro Sergipe and then with us even by e mail joseluizsjr@gmail.com soon our third work in commemoration of 10 years of band should be available also, we idea of creating our own label distribution the "melissa records' to download our two demos is so into the www.bandasdegargem.com.br / sflxia also watch our clips below:
