Fala galera. Here is Martinez Laurencce of Culture in the Weight "covering the Jambolada 2009, and today we will talk with Clayton (vocals) and Andrey Meoli (Guitar), both members of Sopron, formed in 2007 and come from Montes Claros-MG.

Before the Show:

Laurencce: It's the first time that the Sopron touch Uberlandia?

Andrey: That first time in Uberlandia

Laurencce: And what is the expected pro show soon?

Clayton: The expectation is in the best of all. For us it is a pleasure to play in the biggest independent music festival of the state, for us it's an honor. Let's go up on stage and do the best we can.

Laurencce: The band is relatively new, you have released any material?

Andrey: The band is new but we are pursuing. The band released an EP with six songs, and we added a bonus track (Living Environment) and will soon launch a video-clip and all these things ...

Laurencce: And how is the dissemination of the material?

Andrey: The we're working from the end of 2008, we are with this EP. We've played in Salvador, in some cities of Goiás, and we have run enough inside mine and fortunately we are able to show our work. We are willing to play more and we still consider a great opportunity to touch the Jambolada and show our sound here in Uberlandia.

Laurencce: How is the scene of northern Minas Gerais?

Clayton: The scene there is very cool. Pra this style that we play harder rock is fucking ... The guys even show up! There is a lot of good bands, not just rock. The scene is quite large. The guys are doing their own music and that's pretty cool.

Andrey: The independent scene there as well as quantitative and qualitative. It has a knock-band chasing independently, but showing your work and showing its value.

Laurencce: What are the influences of Soprones?

Andrey: Several. Rock n 'Roll, hard rock, classic rock ...

Clayton: We listen to everything. I even started playing Thrash. I have a thrash band, the rest of the band has far more hardcore, then it's a mixture. The cool thing is that the band, this mixture that makes the songs come out with our guy.

After the Show:

Laurencce: How was playing in Jambolada 2009?

Clayton: Do caralho, man, fucking. Structure fucking, the guys too. It was very good.

Laurencce: Do you intend to return to Uberlandia?

Clayton: God willing, just call we are there.

Laurencce: What do you recommend for the bands that are starting now and are still in the garage?

Clayton: Studying as hell, man. Who gets to play rock do not think you need to study much, but we do ... Learn well, and believe very grating. You have to believe in what you do and what will happen and even take you forward.
